ARGHHH!!! Headaches...

Considering the modern woman and her duties that she has to fullfill, headache is a very common symptom that occurs. Frequent headaches can be very exhausting and affect our daily lives.

Many of us are affected by Migraine, which is the most common form of vascular headache.

The predominant symptom of a migraine is a sharp, pulsating pain on one or both sides of head. Before the pain begins, some individuals may see flashing lights or "shooting stars", hear noises, smell frangrances or odors, or feel a tingling sensation in the arms or legs. Such headaches can occur daily for days, weeks or months. Such headaches may be aggravated by drinking alcohol and smoking.

Migraines may be triggered by a sharp reduction in caffeine intake or by allergies to certain foods or food additives. Emotional stress is a very common cause for migraine headaches. Many women also suffer from premenstrual migraines.
